My Plans for the Future

I have a plan to go to high school focus on being a doctor.  I want to graduate from high school and also graduate college. I would like to work at a hospital and help the people that are hurt. I have to work very hard to become a doctor because it’s a way to help people. I want to have an amazing future and a life full of joy. For me education is very important. I know that going to college and getting an education is very important because you get to do what you want and follow your dreams. I want to make my parents proud and always try my best if I want to have a great future. So this is a plan for the future. I think everybody has a passion and if you work hard and try your best you’ll find that passion you have. Never have an excuse just try your best because if you don’t you won’t get to do what you want. If you have a dream work hard for it and you’ll get something great out of it. This is what I will do if I want to have a great future. Working hard is going to take me where I need to be or where I belong. I would like to work at the hospital because I would learn a lot and also help a lot of people. This makes me feel good because I know that  I’m helping the world. I plan to go Brockton high school graduate and then continue on to college. It takes many years of schooling and studying. The rewards feelings a Doctor experiences is one reason I want to be. I think people should  never have an excuse for not studying and following their dreams. I have an interested in science and biology so I think these classes will help me in the future. Becoming a doctor is a way to help myself and also provide for my family both financially and when they are sick. These are some  reasons why I would like to be a doctor.

Miracles Can Always Happen

In July 14, 2001 I was 2 years old. My mother was 26 and she tells people that miracles can and do happen. That summer my family and I experienced one. July 14 was a typical summer for me and my family. Just before 5 p.m.my mom was busy in our second floor, south end apartment, preparing to take me and my brothers to the Whaling City Festival. My father and my two out of the three of my brothers were waiting outside. My brothers were excited to return to the festival, which we had always attended the previous evening. As my mom went about gathering sweaters and filling my bottle for I was unnoticed heading out the kitchen door and started down the stairs leading to the street. Looking back, my mom believed the excitement in the air and I seeing my father waiting at the door and then headed across the street to where my father was standing, crossing between two parked cars. I not yet three feet tall, couldn’t be seen by the driver of the black Toyota Celica that had just turned onto the street. According to my police report, the driver slammed on his brakes when he saw me, locking them, and leaving almost 14 feet of skid marks.it still wasn`t enough to avoid hitting me. Though results of both a CAT scan and ultrasound of my abdomen came back normal. For my mom, there is no doubt that my survival and almost total lack of injury is miraculous. A week after the accident my mom gave a testimony of the miracle at our church, Igreja Evangelical Pentostal in Seekonk. Standing in front of the congregation, my mom told her story through a lot of tears and gave thanks to God that he performed a miracle. My mom hopes that by continuing to tell her story she will help others believe in the possibility of miracles. She has documented the events of that day, neatly organizing in a special folder the police report of the accident, the results of all my medical test results, and a hand-drawn illustration showing the house, the parked cars, and the distance between the spot I was hit and the place I landed. Long before my accident, my mom says she believed in miracles. She has witnessed church miracles and has had her own experience of receiving help while recovering from difficult medical problems. She believes that opening your heart to God is one way of making room for the miraculous. “If it`s in your heart,” she said, “it`s going to happen.” Have you had a miracle in life?

My Career

I have a plan to graduate from high school and go to college while I focus on hair dressing.  I work good with hair so I think I want do that when I grow up. I already know how to dye hair and mix colors. I want to be a hair dresser to learn more about hair and different things to do to hair. I’m going to work hard to reach my dreams. I want to finish high school at least, and then go to the hair dressing school to focus on hair. If I can’t become a hair dresser then I do have other things I want to do. When I learn all the different things that I have to learn I will practice a lot on other people, like my family. I want to open  my own hair salon and if I can’t do that right away  then I’ll work in a salon that I don’t own, saved up enough money, and then buy my own salon.  As long as I’m work as a hair dresser I will be fine. That’s my goal for the futureJ.
